Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 6 seed, won against Argentinian Nadia Podoroska 6-3, 6-0 to move into the last 16 of the Bad Hombourg Open at the Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe.
Alexandrova, ranked No 20, will play the winner of the match between Croat Donna Vekic and Italian qualifier Lucia Bronzetti next.
