Gracheva sets up Austin final against Kostyuk

Russia’s Varvara Gracheva edged out American Katie Volynets 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 to move into the final of the Austin Open at the Westwood Country Club on Saturday night.
Gracheva, ranked No 88, will battle Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk for the title.
In the previous rounds of the Austin tournament, the 22-year-old defeated top seed Magda Linette (6-3, 4-6, 6-4), Anna Blinkova (6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-1) and No 5 seeed Sloane Stephens (7-6(4), 6-3).
Volynets, ranked No 92, beat Alison Riske-Amritraj (6-3, 3-6, 6-0), No 3 seed Anastasia Potapova (5-7, 6-2, 7-5) and wild card Peyton Stearns (7-5, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
