Sofia Kenin won against Wang Xinyu 7-6 (5), 6-1 on Monday and will play Dane Clara Tauson, the No 5 seed, in the next round

American Sofia Kenin reached the second round of the Auckland Open by winning against Chinese Wang Xiyu 7-6 (5), 6-1 at the ASB Tennis Arena on Monday.
Kenin, ranked No 81, will play Dane Clara Tauson, the No 5 seed, next.
