ASB Classic: Gracheva sets up quarter-final clash against top seed Gauff
The Frenchwoman defeated Lulu Sun 6-3, 6-4 in the second round on Thursday

Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 8 seed, won against Swiss Lulu Sun 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the last eight of the ASB Classic on Thursday.
Gracheva, ranked No 42, will play American Coco Gauff, the top seed, next.
Ahead of her win today, the Frenchwoman beat qualifier Tereza Martincova (6-7 (3), 7-5, 6-2).
Sun, ranked No 214, won against American qualifier Mccartney Kessler (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round.
