Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the second seed, defeated French lucky loser Carole Monnet 6-0, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Antalya Open at the Megasaray Tennis Academy.
Semenistaja, ranked No 109, will face Japanese Moyuka Uchijima next.
