Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the No 4 seed, defeated Austrian Sinja Kraus 7-6 (10), 6-1 to move into the second round of the Antalya Open at the Megasaray Tennis Academy on Tuesday.
Begu, ranked No 126, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Cagla Buyukakcay and Croat Tara Wurth next.
