Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the No 5 seed, advanced to the final of the Antalya Open by defeating Swiss Simona Waltert 6-2, 6-3 at the Megasaray Tennis Academy on Saturday night.
Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 127, will play the winner of the match between Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the No 4 seed, and Japanese Moyuka Uchijima next.
In the previous rounds of the Antalya tournament, the 21-year-old Spaniard won against Hungarian Panna Udvardy (2-6, 6-3, 6-3), qualifier Leyre Romero Gormaz (6-1, 7-5) and Russian Polina Kudermetova (2-6, 7-5, 6-3).
Waltert, ranked No 181, beat Hungarian Dalma Galfi (6-4, 6-3), Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot (6-2, 6-4) and Serb Olga Danilovic, the No 7 seed (7-6 (4), 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
