Burel beats Paquet in all-French final to clinch Angers title

Second seed Clara Burel beat Chloe Paquet 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to win the Angers Open final at the Arena Loire de Trélazé on Sunday.
Burel, ranked No 60, defeated Elsa Jacquemot (6-4, 6-4), German Mona Barthel (6-2, 7-6 (5)), Russian Erika Andreeva (7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-3) and Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 6 seed (6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Paquet, ranked No 186, beat Estonian Kaia Kanepi (6-4, 6-2), No 8 seed Alize Cornet (6-3, 7-6 (5)), Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the top seed (7-5, 6-3) and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 3 seed (7-6 (3), 6-2).
