Angers Open: Burel books spot in last four with win over Andreeva

Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the second seed, reached the semi-finals of the Angers Open by beating Russian Erika Andreeva 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-3 at the Arena Loire de Trélazé.
Burel, ranked No 60, will play Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 6 seed, next.
Earlier in the tournament, the 22-year-old Frenchman beat Elsa Jacquemot (6-4, 6-4) and German Mona Barthel (6-2, 7-6 (5)).
Andreeva, ranked No 122, defeated Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz (7-5, 6-3) and Romanian Andreea Mitu (6-2, 7-5) in the previous rounds of the Angers tournament.
