Angers Open: Bucsa advances to semi-finals

Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 3 seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Angers Open by winning against French wildcard Audrey Albie 6-3, 6-1 at the Arena Loire de Trélazé on Friday.
Bucsa, ranked No 90, will face the winner of the match between Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the top seed, and Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet next.
Ahead of her victory, the Spaniard defeated Frenchwoman Alice Robbe (6-1, 2-6, 6-1) and Croat Lea Boskovic (6-3, 4-6, 6-1).
Albie, ranked No 349, beat No 5 seed Oceane Dodin (7-6 (4), 6-3) and Jessika Ponchet (W/O) earlier in the tournament.
