Angers Open: Albie makes quarter-finals
Audrey Albie benefited from the forfeit of Jessika Ponchet on Friday night and will face Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Wildcard Audrey Albie advanced to the last eight of the Angers Open after Jessika Ponchet withdrew before the match at the Arena Loire de Trélazé on Friday night.
Albie, ranked No 349, will face Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 3 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, Audrey Albie won against No 5 seed Oceane Dodin (7-6 (4), 6-3).
Ponchet, ranked No 121, edged out Amandine Hesse (6-4, 5-7, 6-4) in the previous round of the Angers tournament.
