Andreescu upsets seventh seed Trevisan in Bad Homburg
The former US Open champion sets up a meeting against British qualifier Katie Swan in the second round

Canada’s Bianca Andreescu upset the seventh seeded Martina Trevisan, of Italy, in straight sets to reach the second round of the Bad Homburg Open at Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe in Bad Hombourg on Tuesday.
Andreescu, a former US Open champion who is now ranked No 64 in the world, won 6-3, 6-1in one hour and 15 minutes to set up a clash against qualifier Katie Swan next.
Swan scored a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win over former US Open champion Sloane Stephens 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 on Sunday.
