Swiss Celine Naef edged out Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the top seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Andorrà Open at Polideportivo de Andorra in Andorre on Monday.
Naef, ranked No 138, will play the winner of the match between Swiss Susan Bandecchi and Russian Erika Andreeva next.
