Wozniacki beats qualifier Parks for first Wimbledon win since 2018
The former world No 1 will play Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 30 seed, in the next round

Danish wildcard Caroline Wozniacki reached the second round of Wimbledon by winning against American qualifier Alycia Parks 6-2, 6-0 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Tuesday evening.
This was the Dane’s first win at Wimbledon since she reached the fourth round in 2018.
Wozniacki, ranked No 91, will play Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 30 seed, next. Parks was coming into the match with nine consecutive wins, after winning a WTA $125K title and three matches in qualifying last week.
