Svitolina sets third-round clash with Jabeur at Wimbledon with win over Germany’s Niemeier
Elina Svitolina won against Jule Niemeier 6-3, 6-4 on Thursday evening and will play Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 10 seed, in the next round

Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, the No 21 seed, won against German Jule Niemeier 6-3, 6-4 to move into the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Londres on Thursday evening.
Svitolina, ranked No 21, will face Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 10 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Ukrainian defeated Pole Magda Linette (7-5, 6-7 (9), 6-3).
Niemeier, ranked No 90, beat Swiss Viktorija Golubic (6-2, 6-1) in the previous round of The Championships.
