Chinese Juncheng Shang won against Chilean qualifier Cristian Garin 7-5, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Monday.
Shang, ranked No 91, will face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 10 seed, next.
