Aryna Sabalenka beat Madison Keys 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 6 seed, and Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed, in the next round
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, beat American Madison Keys, the No 25 seed, 6-2, 6-4 to reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Sabalenka, ranked No 2, will play the winner of the match between Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 6 seed, and Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed, next.
The Belarusian won against Hungarian Panna Udvardy (6-3, 6-1), Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva (2-6, 7-5, 6-2), Russian Anna Blinkova (6-2, 6-3) and Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 21 seed (6-4, 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of The Championships, Keys, ranked No 18, defeated wildcard Sonay Kartal (6-0, 6-3), Swiss qualifier Viktorija Golubic (7-5, 6-3), Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk (6-4, 6-1) and Russian qualifier Mirra Andreeva (3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2).
