Wimbledon: Podoroska edges past Martincova to reach second round
Nadia Podoroska edged out Tereza Martincova 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 on Monday. She’ll face the winner of the match between Chinese qualifier Yue Yuan and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 19 seed, in the next round

Argentinian Nadia Podoroska edged out Tereza Martincova 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 to move into the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Monday.
Podoroska, ranked No 80, will face the winner of the match between Chinese qualifier Yue Yuan and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 19 seed, next.
