Wimbledon: Queen’s champion Paul battles past Virtanen and into third round
Tommy Paul beat Otto Virtanen 4-6, 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will face Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 23 seed, in the next round

American Tommy Paul, the No 12 seed, moved into the third round of Wimbledon by beating Finnish qualifier Otto Virtanen 4-6, 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Paul, ranked No 13, will face Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 23 seed, next.
In the previous round of The Championships, the American won against Spaniard Pedro Martinez (6-2, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3).
Virtanen, ranked No 147, won against Australian Max Purcell (6-3, 6-2, 6-2) in the previous round of The Championships.
