Nakashima reaches last 16 of a Grand Slam for the first time at Wimbledon

American Brandon Nakashima advanced to the last 16 of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career on Saturday with a third round win at Wimbledon.
Nakashima defeated Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan 6-4, 6-4, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London to achieve his best result at a Major so far.
Ranked No 56 in the world, Nakashima will face the winner of the match between Australian Nick Kyrgios and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 4 seed, for a place in the quarter-finals.
Nakashima is one of four American men into the last 16 at Wimbledon this year, along with Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz.
