Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 3 seed, won against American Christopher Eubanks 6-4, 1-6, 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1 to advance to the last four of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Medvedev, ranked No 3, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, next.

The Russian defeated wildcard Arthur Fery (7-5, 6-4, 6-3), Frenchman Adrian Mannarino (6-3, 6-3, 7-6 (5)), Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4) and Jiri Lehecka (6-4, 6-2 ret.) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Eubanks, ranked No 43, won against Brazilian Thiago Monteiro (4-6, 7-5, 7-5, 6-3), No 12 seed Cameron Norrie (6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3)), Australian Christopher O’Connell (7-6 (5), 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2)) and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed (3-6, 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
