Wimbledon: Lehecka wins titanic tussle with Paul to reach last 16

Jiri Lehecka won against American Tommy Paul, the No. 16 seed, 6-2, 7-6 (2), 6-7 (5), 6-7 (9), 6-2 to reach the last 16 of Wimbledon in what was a truly titanic tussle.
Paul fought back from two sets down, winning the third and the fourth sets – both on tight tiebreaks – before Lehecka was finally able to get over the line by taking the fifth.
Lehecka, ranked No 37, will play Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 3 seed, next.
Jiri Lehecka beat Austrian wildcard Sebastian Ofner (6-4, 6-4, 6-4) and Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 18 seed (6-2, 6-2, 6-2) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds of The Championships, Paul, ranked No 15, won against Japanese qualifier Shintaro Mochizuki (7-5, 6-3, 6-1) and edged out Canadian Milos Raonic (6-4, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (4), 6-4).
