Wimbledon: Keys beats Kostyuk in straight sets, through to last 16

American Madison Keys, the No 25 seed, reached the last 16 of Wimbledon by beating Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Saturday evening.
Keys, ranked No 18, will face the winner of the match between No 22 seed Anastasia Potapova and qualifier Mirra Andreeva next.
Earlier in the tournament, the American won against wildcard Sonay Kartal (6-0, 6-3) and Swiss qualifier Viktorija Golubic (7-5, 6-3).
Kostyuk, ranked No 36, defeated Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 8 seed (0-6, 7-5, 6-2) and Spaniard Paula Badosa (6-2, 1-0 ret.) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
