Wimbledon: Qualifier Kartal continues dream run, edges past Burel to reach third round

Qualifier Sonay Kartal beat Frenchwoman Clara Burel 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 to advance to the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Kartal, ranked No 298, will face American Coco Gauff, the second seed, next.
Sonay Kartal beat Romanian Sorana Cirstea, the No 29 seed (3-6, 6-2, 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of The Championships, Burel, ranked No 45, defeated German qualifier Eva Lys (6-2, 6-4).
