Jiri Vesely won against American Sebastian Korda, the No 22 seed, 7-6 (7), 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the second round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Jiri Vesely will play the winner of the match between Australian Christopher O’Connell and Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic next.
