Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 6 seed, moved into the final of Wimbledon by defeating Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.
Jabeur, ranked No 6, will face Marketa Vondrousova next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Tunisian won against Pole Magdalena Frech (6-3, 6-3), Chinese qualifier Zhuoxuan Bai (6-1, 6-1), Canadian Bianca Andreescu (3-6, 6-3, 6-4), No 9 seed Petra Kvitova (6-0, 6-3) and Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed (6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-1).
Sabalenka, ranked No 2, beat Hungarian Panna Udvardy (6-3, 6-1), Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva (2-6, 7-5, 6-2), Russian Anna Blinkova (6-2, 6-3), Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 21 seed (6-4, 6-0) and American Madison Keys, the No 25 seed (6-2, 6-4) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
