Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 6 seed, moved into the semi-finals of Wimbledon by defeating Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.
Jabeur, ranked No 6, will play Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, next.
The Tunisian won against Pole Magdalena Frech (6-3, 6-3), Chinese qualifier Zhuoxuan Bai (6-1, 6-1), Canadian Bianca Andreescu (3-6, 6-3, 6-4) and No 9 seed Petra Kvitova (6-0, 6-3) in the previous rounds of The Championships.
Earlier in the tournament, Rybakina, ranked No 3, beat American Shelby Rogers (4-6, 6-1, 6-2), Frenchwoman Alize Cornet (6-2, 7-6 (2)), wildcard Katie Boulter (6-1, 6-1) and Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 13 seed (4-1 ret.).
