Wimbledon: Galan makes third round, will meet Ymer

Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan moved into the third round of Wimbledon by edging out German qualifier Oscar Otte 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3) at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday afternoon.

Galan, ranked No 85, will face the winner of the match between Swede Mikael Ymer and American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, next.

The Colombian beat Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka, the No 24 seed (6-4, 6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of The Championships.
