Wimbledon: Davidovich Fokina beats van de Zandschulp, to play Rune in third round
The Spaniard defeated Botic van de Zandschulp 6-1, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 on Friday to reach third round at Wimbledon for the first time

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 31 seed, moved into the third round of Wimbledon by beating Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 6-1, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 34, will face Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, next.

Ahead of his victory, the Spaniard won against French wildcard Arthur Fils (7-6 (3), 6-1, 6-2).
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 44, won against Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (2-6, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-2) in the previous round of The Championships.
