Roberto Carballes Baena edged out Matteo Arnaldi 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday and will play Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, in the next round

Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena reached the second round of Wimbledon by edging out Italian qualifier Matteo Arnaldi 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday afternoon.
Carballes Baena, ranked No 57, will face Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, next.
