Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 23 seed, moved into the third round of Wimbledon by beating Frenchman Arthur Cazaux 6-4, 7-6 (1), 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Bublik, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between American Tommy Paul, the No 12 seed, and Finnish qualifier Otto Virtanen next.
The Kazakh rallied to beat Jakub Mensik (4-6, 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-4, 6-2) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of The Championships, Cazaux, ranked No 98, won against Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs (6-1, 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-7 (4), 7-6 (8)).
