Wimbledon: Bautista Agut impresses against Sonego to make third round

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut advanced to the third round of Wimbledon by edging out Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Wednesday.

Bautista Agut, ranked No 112, will play Italian Fabio Fognini next.

Ahead of his victory, the 36-year-old Spaniard beat German Maximilian Marterer (6-3, 6-1, 6-4).

Sonego, ranked No 54, won against Argentinian Mariano Navone, the No 31 seed (6-4, 7-6 (2), 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.
