Wimbledon: Alcaraz beating Muller in straight sets, to meet Jarry in third round

Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, won against Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-4, 7-6 (2), 6-3 to reach the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Alcaraz, ranked No 1, will play Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 25 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the 20-year-old Spaniard beat Frenchman Jeremy Chardy (6-0, 6-2, 7-5).
Muller, ranked No 84, edged out Arthur Rinderknech (7-6 (5), 1-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.
