The draw for the third Grand Slam of the year was made at Wimbledon on Friday and world No 1 Iga Swiatek was dealt a tough hand. The Pole, a five-time slam winner but who has never gone beyond the quarter-finals on the grass at Wimbledon, will play former Australian Open winner Sofia Kenin in round one.

Swiatek could also meet 2018 Wimbledon winner Angelique Kerber in the third round, while four slam winners are in her section of the draw; Barbora Krejcikova, Caroline Wozniacki, defending champion Marketa Vondrousova and former winner Elena Rybakina, as well as two-time finalist Ons Jabeur.

In the bottom half of the draw, world No 2 Coco Gauff finds Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka in her way. The American could also meet former world No 1 Naomi Osaka in the last 16, if both players make it through to the second week.
