Parry dismisses dangerous Kanepi, moves into Wimbledon second round

Frenchwoman Diane Parry moved into the second round of Wimbledon by beating Estonian Kaia Kanepi, the No 31 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Monday evening.
Parry, ranked No 77, will play Japanese qualifier Mai Hontama next.
