Johanna Konta has been withdrawn from Wimbledon due to Covid protocols
Johanna Konta has been forced out of the Wimbledon draw, deemed as a “close contact” to a positive Covid-19 test result.

Former Wimbledon semi-finalist and British No 1 Johanna Konta has been forced out of the Wimbledon draw due to Covid protocols.
“Johanna Konta has been withdrawn from the Ladies’ Singles Draw, having been classified as a close contact of a positive test for COVID-19,” the tournament wrote in an email.
Konta is required to spend 10 days in self-isolation.
China’s Wang Yafan will replace her in the main draw.
