Humbert sets up Ruud clash in Wimbledon second round

Frenchman Ugo Humbert reached the second round of Wimbledon by beating Argentina’s Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Monday.
Humbert, a former world No 25 who is now ranked No 112, will play third seeded Casper Ruud, of Norway, in the second round.
Ruud scored a straight sets win over Albert Ramos Vinolas to score his first win at Wimbledon in three main draw appearances.

- Casper Ruud beat Albert Ramos Vinolas: 7-6 (1), 7-6 (9), 6-2
- Quentin Halys beat Benoit Paire: 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4
- Nikoloz Basilashvili (22) beat Lukas Rosol (Q): 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-3, 6-3
