Gasquet through to Wimbledon second round for the 12th time in 13 years
Richard Gasquet won against João Sousa in five sets and will play either Nuno Borges or Mackenzie McDonald in the second round

French veteran Richard Gasquet advanced to the second round of Wimbledon by defeating Portuguese João Sousa in five sets at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old Gasquet won 7-6 (7), 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 in three hours and 29 minutes.
Gasquet, ranked No 69, will play the winner of the match between Portuguese lucky loser Nuno Borges and American Mackenzie McDonald in the second round.
