London confirmed as host for UTS Grand Final
ExCel London will stage the eight-man event from December 15-17
The organizers of UTS Seoul have announced the postponement of UTS Seoul. The next UTS event will therefore be the Grand Final, in London, from December 15 to 17, 2023, at ExCel London.
Tennis fans in London will think Christmas has come early when the UTS Grand Final arrives in their city from December 15 to 17.
It will take place at the ExCel London, one of the UK’s leading international exhibition and conference centres.
It is the final event of the 2023 league, with the winner being crowned UTS world champion. Eight players will be in contention for this title.
There are three ways to qualify for the UTS Grand Final:
1) Winning an edition: each winner of a 2023 UTS event is automatically qualified for the Grand Final.
2) UTS Race ranking qualification: the top three players in the race ranking (excluding winners of UTS Events). These are currently Diego Schwartzman, Gael Monfils, and Benoit Paire.
3) By wild card: there will be at least two wild cards handed out.
Two thrilling editions of UTS have already taken place this year, with Wu Yibing triumphing in LA, and Andrey Rublev the champion in Frankfurt. Both will feature in London.
The next UTS event of the year will be Seoul, as eight men fight for the title and a place in London’s Grand Final: Nick “King” Kyrgios, “La Monf” Gael Monfils, “The Machine” Soon-Woo Kwon, and “The Bublik Enemy” Alexander Bublik are all already confirmed.
Tickets for London will go on sale on October 17th.
