UTS, the ground-breaking international men’s tennis tour, will begin the 2025 season in Guadalajara – its first stop in Latin America.

Eight of the very best players in the world will compete from February 14th to 16th on the centre court of the Centro Panamericano de Tenis – with Nick “King Kyrgios” Kyrgios, Casper “The Ice Man” Ruud, Denis “Shapo” Shapovalov and newcomer Flavio Cobolli all already confirmed to participate.

Guadalajara is the host venue for the WTA GDL Open Akron and has previously hosted the prestigious WTA Finals back in 2021.

The current season crowned Andrey Rublev in Oslo, Gaël Monfils in New York, with the next stage taking place in Frankfurt – in October – before the Grand Final in London in December.

Mouratoglou: “We are thrilled to open the 2025 UTS Tour in Latin America”

The three days of competition on Mexican soil will be split into two round robin days (with all eight players competing on both February 14th and 15th February), as well as a traditional Final Four showdown (semi-finals and the final on February 16th, with the iconic Zeus trophy on the table) – maximising the enjoyment of both the players and fans alike.

The players will be competing for a prize pot of $1.4m, with the event winner of UTS Guadalajaja taking home up to $420,000.

“We are thrilled to open the 2025 UTS Tour in Latin America and to bring some of the world’s most exciting male tennis players to Guadalajara,” says Mouratoglou.

“I have always been impressed by the utterly amazing atmospheres that Mexican tennis fans create on their home tournaments, and I cannot wait to see them cheer for their favourite players during UTS, where we get rid of the ‘silence please’ rule and let fans express their emotions even during the points, just like in football stadiums.”

Tickets go on sale on September 13th on boletomovil.com.
