Frenchman Monfils completes line-up for return of UTS in Los Angeles
Monfils joins a stellar field which also includes Nick Kyrgios and Frances Tiafoe for the July 21-23 event
Flamboyant Frenchman Gael Monfils will round out the field for this summer’s UTS event in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old – who will play under his familiar nickname “La Monf” – is the eighth and final big name to confirm his participation for the return of the innovative, fast-paced competition, the brainchild of renowned coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
He joins seven other fellow top players for the event, which will be held at the Dignity Health Sports Park, in Los Angeles, from July 21-23. You can purchase tickets here.

Begun in 2020, as a way of offering players competitive, fun tennis in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, this will be the fifth edition of UTS and first to be held in Los Angeles.
The LA event will be the first of four UTS events in 2023, with three regular events and a Grand Final, which will be played in December.
