US Open: Ruse into second round, Gauff next
Elena-Gabriela Ruse edged out Daria Saville 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 on Monday night. She’ll face American Coco Gauff, the No 12 seed, in the next round
Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse moved into the second round of the US Open by edging out Australian Daria Saville 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Monday.
Ruse, ranked No 101, will play American Coco Gauff, the No 12 seed, next.
