No 29 seed Alison Riske-Amritraj moved into the second round of the US Open by beating wildcard Eleana Yu 6-2, 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Monday.
Riske-Amritraj, ranked No 29, will play the winner of the match between American Ann Li and Colombian Camila Osorio next.
