Linda Noskova moved into the second round of the US Open by winning against American Madison Brengle 6-2, 6-1 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.
Noskova, ranked No 41, will face the winner of the match between Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 5 seed, and Colombian Camila Osorio next.
