Briton Evans sets up third-round clash with Cilic at US Open
The Briton will now take on former champion Marin Cilic for a place in the last 16

Britain’s No 20 seed Dan Evans saw off Australian James Duckworth 6-3, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Thursday.
Evans, ranked No 23, will face Croat Marin Čilić, the No 15 seed and 2014 winner, next.
Evans won against Czech Jiri Vesely (6-4, 6-1, 6-1) in the previous round at Flushing Meadows. Duckworth, ranked No 83, defeated Christopher O’Connell (4-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-3).
