US Open: A serious Carreno Busta makes third round, beating Bublik in 4
Pablo Carreno Busta edged out Alexander Bublik 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (5) on Wednesday. He’ll play Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 18 seed, in the next round

Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 12 seed and recent Canadian Open winner, edged out Kazakh Alexander Bublik 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (5) to move into the third round of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Wednesday.
Carreno Busta, ranked No 15, will face Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 18 seed, next.
The Spaniard beat Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem (7-5, 6-1, 5-7, 6-3) ahead of his victory. Bublik, ranked No 47, won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (6-4, 6-4, 6-4).
