The draw for the women’s singles event at Roland-Garros was released in Paris on Thursday
The draw for the women’s singles event at Roland-Garros unveiled on Thursday in the presence of the three-time Olympic champion, France’s Marie-Jose Perec.
Last year’s winner, Iga Swiatek, who was on hand to speak after the women’s draw was released, could face former world No 1 Naomi Osaka in a mouth-watering second round clash. The Pole also has Barbora Krejcikova in the round of 16 and Marketa Vondrousova or Danielle Collins in the quarter-finals!! The draw has pitted her and US Open champion Coco Gauff in the same half while two-time Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka and world No 4 Elena Rybakina are placed in the bottom half.
