German Jan-Lennard Struff won against Argentinian qualifier Roman Andres Burruchaga 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 to reach the second round of Roland-Garros in Paris.
Struff, ranked No 41, will play the winner of the match between French qualifier Gregoire Barrere and Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 19 seed, next.
