Roland-Garros: Schwartzman stages comeback against Munar
Diego Schwartzman pulled off a miraculous comeback to beat Jaume Munar 2-6, 6-7 [3], 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 on Wednesday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 18 seed, and Croat Borna Coric in the next round
Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, the No 15 seed, moved into the third round of Roland-Garros by pulling off a miraculous comeback to beat Spaniard Jaume Munar 2-6, 6-7 [3], 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
Schwartzman, ranked No 16, will face the winner of the next match between Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 18 seed, and Croat Borna Coric next.
In the first round, the Argentinian won against Russian qualifier Andrey Kuznetsov (6-3, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2), while Munar, ranked No 87, beat German Daniel Altmaier (6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3).
