Roland-Garros: Raducanu fights back against Czech teen Noskova to seal first Paris win
The 2021 US Open champion finally made her debut in Paris and fought to a first-round win

US Open champion Emma Raducanu made her Roland-Garros bow with a real battle against Czech qualifier Linda Noskova – but eventually triumphed 6-7 [4], 7-5, 6-1 to move into the second round of Roland-Garros on Monday evening.
Raducanu, currently ranked No 12 in the world, will play Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich next.
To qualify for the main draw, Noskova, the world No 184, beat Russian Anna Blinkova (6-3, 7-5), Swiss Conny Perrin (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) and Slovak lucky loser Rebecca Sramkova (6-3, 6-2).
